Fabric bracelets part 2: embroidery

These took so long but it was so worth it, I'm very proud of these

[Image ID: six images of three different fabric cuff bracelets. One is a blue/purple cuff with green wavy leafy vine embroidery that curls towards both ends of the bracelet. The design is on both sides of the spikes down the length of the bracelet, same placement as the others. All three bracelets have small metal spikes down the middle. The second bracelet is a desaturated red color, with a gray barbed wire design along both sides of the spikes. The third bracelet is a red and black flannel pattern, with a lighter silvery gray barbed wire embroidery in a slightly different style. The first barbed wire design is a little more stylized while the one on the black and red cuff is a little more realistic looking in its shape, but both are simplistic designs. All bracelets have button closures and three buttons to allow the wearer to adjust the size. All bracelets are roughly 9-10.5 inches long when open and flat and 2.5 inches wide. End ID]

I'm going back and forth with myself on a decision about using damaged toys on my recycled toy earrings. Like, I absolutely use ones with initials of the original kids, cause I feel it respects the story and original purpose of what a toy is made for. But does that apply to one that is actually damaged? Like this bunny missing part of its ear.

I currently only sell these in a physical store in Anoka, Minnesota called Random Hippie. If I feel that this is something people would actually be interested in on my larger scale, I am considering opening an online store as well, possibly Etsy, so interaction online really helps me gauge how popular they would actually be.

At long last I have edited the pictures of the witchy charm bracelet I finished last month! This was a really fun project that started with a single Ouija Board planchette earring and a silver chain bracelet I found in a second hand jewelry bag of odds and ends. I collected the rest of the charms from local stores and shops I found on Etsy!

The Flowing Water necklace:

As with all of my creations so far, this one was created as part of my mindfulness meditation practice with recycled wire excavated from an old collapsed motor court motel. My focus with this one was the simple idea of flowing water and a design that would work well for a summer, beach or lake look. There was also a bit of humerous mindfulness of Bruce Lee saying "Be water."

The only design constraint besides the anatomical limits of the wearer was the use of golden ratios in the curves. The incorporation of the rhinestone chain as a closure was actually a Bob Ross style happy little accident. The wire in the original prototype was too short for a collar design and I had to improvise a closure. I was happy enough with the results that I chose to keep the design.

I hope you enjoy it as much as enjoyed designing and crafting it.
